Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how Hirelyzer collects, uses, and protects your data when you use our AI-powered candidate screening platform.

1. Information We Collect
When you use Hirelyzer, we may collect the following types of information:
- Uploaded files β Job descriptions and candidate CVs you submit for analysis, in PDF or other supported formats.
- Extracted content β Text and structured data parsed from the documents you upload, used to perform AI-driven analysis.
- Generated reports β PDF reports, match scores, candidate rankings, and other analysis outputs produced by our platform.
- Account & contact information β Name, email address, and any other details you provide when creating an account or contacting us.
2. How We Use Your Data
The data you provide is used for the following purposes:
- Performing AI-powered analysis to rank candidates, surface strengths, flag concerns, and generate interview guidance.
- Storing uploaded files and analysis results securely in Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Improving the quality and accuracy of our screening algorithms through aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.
- Communicating with you regarding your account, support requests, or service updates.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your uploaded files and analysis data for a default period of 30 days from the date of upload. After this period, all associated data β including uploaded documents, extracted content, and generated reports β is automatically and permanently deleted from our systems.
Recruiters may choose to extend the retention period beyond the default 30 days for specific analyses. When a longer retention period is selected, the data will be retained for the chosen duration and then automatically deleted upon expiration.
While data is retained, previously completed analyses may be reused for future comparisons β for example, matching a returning candidate against a new job description without requiring a fresh upload. Once the retention period expires, this data is no longer available.
4. Data Sharing & Sales
We do not sell your personal data or uploaded content to any third party, under any circumstances.
We do not share your data with unrelated third parties. Data may only be shared with infrastructure providers (such as Microsoft Azure) strictly as required to operate and deliver the Hirelyzer service, and these providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload any documents submitted to Hirelyzer. This includes having appropriate consent from candidates whose CVs or personal information you upload for analysis. Hirelyzer is not liable for content uploaded by users in violation of applicable privacy laws or third-party rights.
6. Security Measures
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission, secure cloud storage, access controls, and regular security reviews.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that no system is entirely risk-free and use the service at your own discretion.
